About me
A Computer Engineering student who learns by building.
Who I am
I am Rohan Das Kathabaniya, a B.E. Computer Engineering student in Nepal. I do not have professional IT experience yet. What I do have is steady practice: I build small projects, read documentation, and publish what I make so others can judge it for themselves.
I like software because problems have answers you can test. I am most interested in web development, AI-assisted work, automation and software quality.
How to read this site: I label skills as "working knowledge" or "currently learning", and projects as completed, in progress or planned. If it says completed, it works.

What I care about
Software engineering
Writing code that other people can read, test and change.
Web development
Fast, accessible pages that work on cheap phones as well as laptops.
AI
Using AI tools and LLM APIs carefully, and checking the results instead of trusting them blindly.
Automation
Turning repeated manual steps into small scripts.
Problem solving
Breaking a big problem into small steps, then testing each one.
Quality
Manual testing and clear documentation, so what I build actually works.
Career goals
- Land a first internship where I can work on real code with a team.
- Take on small freelance projects to build practical experience.
- Grow into a junior developer, or QA and automation, role.
- Keep building projects and writing about what I learn.
Skills
